Sommernacht is the opening night celebration for the launch of Upstate Art Weekend. This will be a traditional German “summer’s night” celebration with campfires, live music, and festivities. Many of the artists exhibiting for Convergence will be in attendance to talk about their work. Susan Brinson, of House of Brinson, and social media influencer will be discussing mixing modern with antique, along with Bull Farm owner and interior designer Simone Eisold. Local distillery Croton Hudson Distillery and the master distiller Kyran Tomkins from The Hudson House Distillery will be offering samples of first batch spirits and barrel-aged whiskey. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Bull Farm 1856 x LODGER Newburgh are inviting guests to join them for a special TAPAS & TASTINGS from 5:30 - 7:30pm during the opening night reception. Locally sourced, farm-to-table tapas created by the renowned chef, artist and educator, Leon Johnson of LODGER Newburgh will be served alfresco with live music and specialty cocktails from the Croton Hudson Distillery.
