Convergence

Convergence, is an exhibition promoting the synergy between works of art and modern contemporary design showcased on the 1856 historic property of Bull Farm. Convergence is a hybrid art-design exhibition in collaboration with artists, creators, and craftsmen in New York and the Hudson Valley. Exploring the relationship between art and interior design, form and function are woven together in a presentation that will inspire your imagination.

A distinguished group of artists will be showcased throughout the stone farmhouse, on lawns, and within the antique barn. Works of art include ceramic sculpture, video, handwoven sculpture, custom handmade rugs, hand-carved wood sculptures, paintings, wire sculpture, prints, mixed media sculpture, customized furniture from wood, leather & metals, and 3-dimensional flexible organic forms.

Throughout the Upstate Art Weekend exhibition, Bull Farm 1856 we will have children's art activities, outdoor seating, music, and outdoor games. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

About Upstate Art Weekend

UPSTATE ART WEEKEND (UPAW) is a connective annual event, for locals and tourists alike, celebrating the cultural vibrancy of Upstate New York. The fourth edition of UPAW will take place Friday, July 21, through Monday, July 24, 2023.

UPAW launched in 2020 with 23 participants, expanding to over 130 in 2023, welcoming thousands of visitors to the region each year. The participants are art organizations, galleries, museums, residencies, and creative projects.

UPAW compiles a program of events and a comprehensive google map, which garnered 255k+ views for the 2022 edition and continues to be used as a resource to discover the arts Upstate.
